Coming From a Place of No: RHONY’s at Fashion Week

In this episode of the Really Boring and Pretentious Housewives of New York City:

Jill is trying on clothes, again. She doesn’t want her 32 Gs hanging out.  She’s proud of being a size 0, and admits to an eating disorder.

Silex go to the Christopher Deane boutique in Brooklyn.  Creepy Simon sits  and critiques as Alex tries on clothes and speaks of his creepy vasectomy. A gay friend of mine revealed that gay men “on the down low”  often marry very thin women with no breasts or hips because they remind them of boys…food for thought, eh?

Bethenny, Jill and Ramona get together for Jill’s charity event planning.  Kelly invites everyone(so she says) to the Russell Simmons fashion week showing.  Simon confronts Ramona about not liking him. He looms over her, no one can get by, they are in the front row, she calls him feminine and shallow. Alex retrieves him. Real classy moment there.

Kelly and Luann try on clothes at Malo. They try on the same grey dress, it looks slightly better on Kelly, being thinner.  Luann invites Kelly to Jill’s  charity planning meeting.  Kelly expresses her distaste for charity work, doesn’t want her name on anything….she’s too important?

Anyway,

Jill invites Bethenny to a fashion luncheon with some designer who wears kilts but whose name escapes me. Jill is in her element…so boring.

Kelly interviews Jill Stuart, boring.

LeCirque is the next meeting place for Jill and Bethenny.  Bethenny disses Kelly in a school girl, insecure way. So of course Jill joins in…

Kelly shows up at the Jill Stuart show, wearing the stupid looking black and white too short young girl dress disaster.   Kelly attempts civil convo with Bethenny, Bethenny is not having it.  Jill Stuarts collection was gorgeous, IMO

At the charity planning meeting, and Kelly is late.

Kelly says no, she will not lend her name to this charity, says she has no time.  Why attend the meeting?  Oh right, contractual obligations to Bravo. That sets Bethenny off, of course. Coming from a place of no.
