Joe Giudice Gets Caught

confronts joe on the of new jersey

A short history lesson: During Season 1 of the , there was a cast member named DeShawn Snow, then married to Eric Snow of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

According to sources, she was not only let go after only one season because she was boring, but because then husband Eric treated her so badly on camera that the production crew had to warn him and re-shoot most of their scenes. A year later:

ERIC SNOW HAS A GIRL WITH BABY MAMA

The point?  Things sure have changed in Bravo TV land. On an upcoming episode of the , Joe Giudice is caught on the telephone with one of his hoochie-mamas, with many speculating it is the elusive  Tara, the girlfriend he has had for years, who once posted under the twitter handle of petiteposie.  I broke this story in August 2010, from a source I promised to never name.

The production crew not only picks up the conversation, it has been widely reported that it will be featured on the August 19, 2012 episode. Commercials on Bravo with the hateful, ugly words Joe uses talking about Teresa. A featured item on the Bravo TV website.  Endless speculation and moral outrage because Teresa will not leave Joe.

Joe was a fool to get caught with his microphone on.  Teresa is so accustomed to horrible treatment she could never think of divorce. She is a traditional Catholic, divorce is out of the question.  The humiliation she must be feeling can only be eclipsed by the way this will affect her daughters, especially Gia, the oldest.

Bravo TV is looking for a ratings bonanza from this family’s pain, and they will get it.  Advertisers will be happy, will be especially happy, the other RH’s on the New Jersey Housewives show will be jumping for joy.

Wonder if there’s a hell?

The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sunday nights on Bravo.

Watch Out Kim, A Real Singer Joins Real Housewives

Kandi Burruss joins 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta'

from EW:

NeNe ,Kim ,Sheree and Lisa make room for one more! EW has learned exclusively that DeShawn Snow ‘s replacement on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta is Kandi Burruss, a singer-songwriter from the platinum-selling '90s R&B girl group Xscape (which also included sisters LaTocha and Tamika Scott, as well as Burruss' best friend Tameka "Tiny" Cottle).

Burruss is undeniably the most notable member from Xscape. Since the group parted ways in the late '90s, she had a somewhat successful solo singing career (her biggest hit: "Don't Think I'm Not") but has seen ever greater successes with songwriting. Along with Cottle (who's married to rap superstar T.I.), she wrote TLC's 1999 smash hit "No Scrubs." Burruss has also penned jams for Mariah Carey, Destiny's Child, Boyz II Men, Alicia Keys, and Faith Evans. The singer-songwriter has a daughter, 6-year-old Riley, from a previous relationship, and a boyfriend.

Burruss fills the spot vacated by DeShawn Snow, who is the wife of Cleveland Cavaliers NBA player and NBA TV announcer Eric Snow. She was known on the show for her ridiculously large house and extensive staff, as well as a rather poorly received fundraiser she threw for the DeShawn Snow Foundation, which helps teenage girls with self-esteem issues. When the news came out that Snow would not be joining Housewives for season 2, she was quoted on Essence.com as saying a producer called her "and said that I was 'too human for a circus show' and that because the show did so well, they are about to pump up the drama and they didn't think that I would fit in." Snow is now pursuing a degree in divinity.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta was Bravo's highest rated freshman series since Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, back in 2003. The series' first season was also the second highest rated Real Housewives season ever, behind only season 3 of The Real Housewives of Orange County. It averaged 1.3 million viewers per episode and scored the highest rated Real Housewives franchise telecast ever, with 2.2 million viewers.

Nene Leakes: Why DeShawn Got the Boot

NeNe Leakes: Why DeShawn Really Got The ‘Real Housewives’ Boot

| Sunday, January 18, 2009 | Labels: deshawn snow, kim zolciak, lisa wu hartwell, nene leakes, slade smiley, the real housewives of atlanta |

DeShawn Snow won’t be returning to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” for its second season, she announced to Essence on Wednesday – and a day later, one of her co-stars revealed why.

“She wanted to be a part of the show,” NeNe Leakes told MomLogic.com. “Production decided they weren’t going to option her for the second season. I think the reason… is that she wasn’t as outgoing or talkative as we were. We’re drama queens and to roll with us, you’ve got to be a drama queen.”

“I didn’t see it coming,” DeShawn told Essence on Wednesday. “I was shocked because I just talked to them in December about the new season.”

She admitted she wasn’t the most dramatic member of the cast’s quintet.

“I’m not the type to go ‘television’ and start acting crazy because somebody’s talking about me,” she said. “I suppose the show took a different direction and they no longer see me as the right fit.”

One woman who’s been rumored to replace her is Usher’s wife, Tameka Foster, but the R&B star’s spouse told the New York Daily News she wouldn’t be on the show.

“Although [Bravo] approached me, and I was flattered by the offer, I will not be joining the ‘ Real Housewives of Atlanta cast,” she told the paper.

Bravo is indeed looking for new housewives in Atlanta for the show, a rep for the network told Access Hollywood, but would not confirm any casting rumors.

As for NeNe – she’s keeping the drama going, even if it’s just over her hairstyle.

“On the show I did have long hair and I did have extensions and people would say, ‘She’s got a weave,’” she told MomLogic. “Well, honey, I’m not denying [it]. I love weaves. I’m not denying it. I never once said ‘I’m [not] wearing extensions.’ [ Fellow ‘Housewife’] Kim [Zolciak] was trying to make an excuse for wearing a wig.”

Real Housewives of Atlanta

The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Equal Opportunity Snark

The next series in Bravo TV's "Real Housewives" franchise is about to hit the airwaves.  The The Real Housewives of Atlanta  will debut this fall.

These nouveau riche women represent the old adage of "money don't change you".  They are still in the 'hood, the hood just costs $3.5 mil.  As the wives and about to be ex-wives of NBA and NFL players, they make the The Real Housewives of Orange County  look like food stamp recipients.

The Real Housewives of New York aren't really new money.

Without going into what happens to most  ex-jocks  when the sun sets on the career, these women better be prepared for the viciousness of the snarkThe Lauri/Gina /George warfare will look tame in comparison.

Watch What Happens.
