The Machiavellian Genius known as @Andy ain’t running things over at Bravo TV for nothing!  What a clever move…..give Caroline Manzo and her clan a spin-off, Manzo'd With Children to get her off of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.  After all, he couldn’t bring himself to fire his surrogate mother!

So far, the clan is filming a pilot episode, so we’ll see where that goes.

In the meantime, Caroline may have been ready to leave the show because she was afraid the “secret” would come out…….are Caroline and Al Manzo still together? Other than the interactions between them during Season 5, and Teresa Giudice’s assertion on the reunion that the Manzos fought throughout the Arizona trip ( too bad Teresa backed down when Caroline’s blood pressure rose) there’s also the photos posted on the Little Town website, taken Mother’s Day. There have been rumors for years stating he lives at the Brownstone, mostly with his girlfriend.  Why Caroline opened that can of worms both in her book and on the air is a mystery. Strategic first strike?

Caroline’s left her footprint on this series over the five seasons; ten toes of anger.  First, she’s angry with Danielle Staub over coming into her life, co-opting Jacqueline Laurita, her sister-in-law, knowing Jac can’t keep her mouth shut. Her anger further extends to Danielle, over her interference in Dina Manzo’s custody and whether or not Lexie’s bio dad signed for her to appear on the show.  That’s the back story on her outburst at the end of Season 1.

Caroline was given a “pass” during Season 2. She mostly polished her kitchen countertops and handed out “sage” advice to Teresa and Jacqueline. She wasn’t forced to interact with Danielle until the end of the season, when they had a “Sopranos” style sit-down.

But Caroline had other troubles during the second season. Her sister, Dina, decided to leave the show mid-season.  She was very afraid of Danielle and would not risk her child custody over a reality show. Back in those days, the contracts weren’t as air-tight, she left on good terms with Bravo.

According to timelines and other information, this is when the irreparable rift between the sisters occurred.  Dina refused to attend the Season 2 reunion. At that reunion, Caroline continued to focus on Danielle, but was beginning to see another fact: Teresa Giudice was the star of the show.

Of all the RH’s, Jacqueline Laurita was clearly the one most unable to handle the stresses of Reality TV. When she was fired, it could be considered compassionate, but we know Andy Cohen has no compassion for his circus clowns.

In the last season, she whined often that her stress came from her son Nicholas’ autism diagnosis, which we could have bought if there was a difference in her behavior before the diagnosis. She was Cynthia Bailey to Caroline Manzo’s Nene Leakes, and when Caroline left the show, there was no need to keep the whining wino around.

She tells Life and Style Magazine:

“Right now, I’m really just enjoying time with my family and I’m writing a few books,” she told the mag.

“My husband [Chris Laurita ] and I are writing a book together about our journey with autism.” (Their 4-year-old son Nicholas is autistic.)

But that’s not all the mother-of-three has up her sleeve.

“My other passion is the beauty industry, so I’m also writing a book about busy moms and beauty things. I’m also writing children’s books! I enjoy writing — that’s what I love,” she shared.

“It’s just been really great with my family. I feel like I’m in a very good place.”

She claims she opted-out, but they all say that:

“I needed a little bit of a break, but we’ll see what happens from there,” she told Life & Style at a Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus event at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Thursday.

It was revealed in October that Dina Manzo , who’s returning to the series after skipping three seasons, wanted her sister-in-law Jacqueline booted from the Bravo hit.

That story was sent out to the media by Tom Murro, Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline’s publicist. Take from that what you will.

“I understand why Dina wouldn’t want me on the show: She doesn’t want to address family issues on-camera!” Jacqueline told Life & Style at the time.

She isn't the only housewife heading out this season — Caroline Manzo also confirmed her exit, and Teresa Giudice’s cousin Kathy Wakile is filming only part-time.

Just in time for Watch What Happens, Live! new season, after endless speculation about her return to the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Danielle Staub will sit down with Andy Cohen as his only guest Sunday, September 8.

Should be a ratings bonanza.

Will Danielle spill the beans on the Manzo clan? She knows where all the bodies are buried, literally and figuratively. Recall Season 1, when Jacqueline Laurita was her BFF. Jacqueline and Caroline Manzo, sister-in-laws, never got along before the show, and Jacqueline always cried on Danielle’s shoulder about adapting to the Manzos.  As we know, Jacqueline runs like a faucet…she told it all.

Joe Gorga Loses Temper, Has A Hair Loss Moment!!

 

Now Melissa and Joe Gorga have another thing to blame on Teresa Giudice: She took the hair growth gene!!

This lather rinse repeat franchise formerly known as the Real Housewives of New Jersey finally caught my attention when Joe Giudice gave Joe Gorga a well deserved ass-whopping…..but it wasn’t the whopping itself…it was the black shoe polish Joe Gorga uses on his head because he’s balding.

He needs to consult Slade Smiley……get a weave!  The funniest moment?  When Melissa Gorga runs over to her husband with his hat……too late!!  It was the first true emotion we ever got from Melissa!

By the time this fight is over, everyone is covered in black…..so funny!

Of course, you have to wonder if “Little Napoleon” Joe Gorga is a steroid user.

Something definitely happened with these overly toxic people, because their overly toxic friends, on both sides, went crazy on twitter over the weekend.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast was filming scenes at Posche 2, Kim De Paola's new shop. Allegedly, Kim, known as a straight up drama queen, invited enemies of Melissa Gorga : Penny Drossos and Johnny Karagiorgis. (Jimmy the Greek)

The story:

If you’re wondering why those names sound familiar, it’s because they have been responsible for a lot of the previous behind-the-scenes drama on the show. The couple has been stirring up plenty more drama lately, as they are reportedly behind rumors that Melissa cheated on husband Joe Gorga  after they were married with ex-boyfriend Brian “Bulldog" Bowen  allegations that both Melissa and Joe firmly deny.

Melissa, Teresa Giudice,  Caroline Manzo, , and Jacqueline Laurita were all in attendance at the Posche 2 party, but it was the men who reportedly started the drama this time. It all began when the Real Housewives men heard that Johnny the Greek had allegedly invited Brian “Bulldog” Bowen to confront Melissa about their alleged affair. And that’s not all! Apparently Chris Laurita overhead Brian making comments about his son, Nicholas Laurita, having autism. When Joe Gorga, Chris, and Albie Manzo caught wind of all of the s–t Johnny was stirring up, they went ballistic, and got into a bloody brawl with Johnny destructive enough to rival the Gorga/Giudice Christening brawl of 2010!

Another day, another anonymous "source" speaking to RadarOnline.

However.. former the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member knows where all the bodies are buried.

If it's true Danielle Staub is returning for a close encounter, that could very well be explosive.

Remember Season 1? In the premiere season, Jacqueline Laurita was Danielle's BFF, and told her all the Manzo family secrets. Junkyard dog Caroline Manzo never, until the show, accepted ex-Las Vegas stripper Jacqueline into the family circle, despite the fact that she'd married her brother, Chris Laurita. The relationship was so bad, Caroline barely knew Ashley Holmes, Jacqueline's daughter from her marriage to John Holmes.

Jacqueline, not exactly known for her mental stability or maturity, spilled all the tea to Danielle.

Then there's the more recent Melissa Gorga problem.

Melissa Gorga was so jealous of sister-in-law Teresa Giudice and her growing fan base as a result of the show, that by Season 2, in an act of desperation, she contacted Danielle Staub….seeking a cameo, at the very least.  More information for Danielle, which is why she was able to confront Teresa with "did you acknowledge your nephew?" a statement that ended with Teresa so angry she pushed Andy Cohen down when he tried to restrain her, one of the best LOL's in RH reunion history.  The Danielle/Melissa Conspiracy

The people surrounding the Real Housewives of New Jersey are as nasty and evil as the Real Housewives themselves. Expect all sorts of accusations and general craziness to come from this franchise as filming for Season 5 continues.

Whether or not Melissa Gorga's cheating scandal will be aired or not doesn't matter… we'll hear about all scandals from this toxic group of reality "stars".

The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Melissa Gorga is facing shocking cheating accusations stemming from rumors, to be revealed in the upcoming season of the Bravo series, that she had an affair with an ex, Brian “Bulldog” Bowen.
Now an associate of Bulldog's exclusively tells Life & Style that according to Bulldog, the two exes have been intimate since Melissa wed her husband, Joe Gorga.
“Melissa went out to dinner at Sushi Lounge, a local restaurant, and left early to go hook up with Bulldog,” alleges the insider, who says the encounter took place before things soured publicly between Melissa and her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice

What do we really know?  Melissa will play the victim and blame Teresa Giudice, Caroline Manzo will pontificate some cliché that passes for "wisdom", and Jacqueline Laurita will continue to moan about how evil Teresa is as she continues to get drunk and play the autism card.

Dina Manzo In New Soap Opera

Days after announcing on twitter that she and husband Tommy Manzo,  separated in October 2012, Dina Manzo, cast member in Seasons 1 and 2 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey and star of HGTV's Dina's Party, has been added to the cast of a new scripted series.

The former castmember on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey and star of HGTV’s Dina’s Party has landed a role on a new series that portrays the behind-the-scenes on daily soap operas called Tainted Dreams.

Created by Emmy-winning director and soap opera veteran Sonia Blangiardo (General Hospital, As the World Turns, All My Children, One Life to Live), the new dramedy casts Manzo as Allessandra DiGiacomo

Her character is described as a “smart and successful New York City corporate CEO whose younger gay brother [played by My Big Gay Italian Wedding's Anthony Wilkinson] will face unexpected circumstances due to his sexuality.”

“Coming from a large Italian family, I was immediately drawn to the character of Alessandra’s family dynamic,” Manzo says in a statement.

I bet. The Manzo/Laurita clan have more family drama than any ten other families.

Regarding the casting, Blangiardo says, “I created the role of Alessandra with Dina Manzo in mind, and we are thrilled to have her join our cast. Her constant support of the gay community and her talent makes her the perfect choice for this series.”

The director created Tainted Dreams after the last of the NYC-based soap operas, One Life to Live, shut down production in November of last year.

“I was struck by the loss of this unique art form that had been such an integral part of NYC for decades. I wanted to somehow capture my own two decades working behind the scenes of three different NYC-based soaps,” Blangiardo explains.

“As a long-time fan of One Life to Live, I am excited to be part of a project centered around the rich, proud heritage of NYC-based daytime drama,”

Manzo joins Tainted Dreams’ already announced castmembers, which include All My Children stars Alicia Minshew, Walt Willey Kelley and Michael Lowry; and As the World Turns stars Menighan Hensley and Marnie Schulenburg.

Tainted Dreams is produced by NYC Brand Productions, which has yet to finalize a distribution deal for the series. Production begins in May.

The disconnect between Dina Manzo and Tommy is not news, and finally Dina has confirmed what has been suspected for years.

Dina acknowledged the end of the marriage via twitter yesterday:

Dina retweeted a tweet from her friend late Friday night that said,“@lisagastineau: Secrets are heavy……..lighten the load”

She followed that with, “My secret…I have been separated since October, my heart hurts but Tommy & I will always share a very special love.”

Dina continued, “So grateful for the support of my loved ones during this time, especially my spiritual friends. You know who u are xoxo. And of course my biggest supporter Lexi, Tommy adores her & they will remain close.”

Tommy, the brother of Al Manzo, Caroline Manzo's husband, and Dina married in spectacular fashion on VH1's My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding in 2009.

Since the debut of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, speculation on the relationship between Dina and Tommy has been rife. He never appeared, even in the background, on the show, fueling all sorts of rumors:

Given the fact the entire Season 4 cast of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, hates Teresa Giudice, this report has little credibility.  If it looks and smells like "stirred shit" well…

This report was given to the National Enquirer, but NJ.com is reporting it here:

A new report claims Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is set to divorce her husband, Joe, after the holidays, no matter how his trial on charges of possessing a fraudulent ID goes.
"But to keep up appearances, they'll play happy family until that time," the National Enquirer quotes a show insider saying, in a report published on the associated online magazine Radaronline.com.

Various people, including Tom Murro, who works for the Manzo FamilyFamily, give stories to Radaronline regularly. The stories are usually anti-Teresa.

 The Enquirer's own full report will be published Thursday. "Her game plan is to make nice with Joe over Thanksgiving and Christmas, dress up their girls — Gabriella, Audriana, Milania and Gia — in their finest party clothes, plaster a fake smile on her face and act as if all is well."
The report says Joe Guidice's alleged cheating and inability to maintain a stable income played a role in the couple's tensions. But it says when Joe Guidice called his wife harsh names in a phone call captured on air, that was the last straw.

Game plan?  The intrepid Teresa Giudice never has a game plan, she stumbles through life. I can't see her divorcing Joe, at all.  The Manzo/Laurita clan needs a hobby.

Caroline Manzo Tired of Frowning and Clowning?

After the negativity and downright ugliness that began toward Teresa Giudice, initiated by Caroline Manzo after the Punta Cana incident, and the negative feedback from viewers Caroline and her clan received, she has decided to back off Teresa for Season 5.

As reported recently, the entire cast of season 4, Melissa Gorga, Kathy Wakile, and Jacqueline Laurita,  will return for a 5th season.

This "change of heart" has nothing to do with them putting out negative press about Teresa, most recently the divorce story circulating around.

Here's what Caroline told HollywoodLife:

“The past is where I want it to be in the past, I feel good about it. I have a very positive attitude. I’m back. I’m going in with a clear mind.”Caroline also told us that she doesn’t think she will ever fully reconcile with Teresa. “I don’t know that we could ever go back to how we were. You know, it can get to, how are things, how are the kids.. you know civil. Will it ever be how it was?… Doubtful. It is what it is. We are big girls.”

Big girls? More like a clique of fifth grade girls hatin'.  Caroline is not capable of holding back, so we'll just watch what happens, if we can stomach another season of this sad, sorry bunch.

Jacqueline Laurita Should Leave Reality TV

 

 

It's a wrap. Time to call it a day for the Real Housewives of New Jersey.  The show cannot be salvaged from the ruins, nor can most of the present cast members be resurrected.

Not only that, but nothing has changed in the past year since the Posche Fashion Show episodes aired. A year ago I wrote they were like squirrels gathering acorns for a long harsh, winter, and nothing has changed since then.

Let's face it: with the exception of Teresa Giudice, none of these losers has worked in a year. The Laurita/Manzo clan, the Wakiles and the Gorgas are all sitting around waiting to see if more Bravo TV "welfare" is coming their way. Now Jacqueline is claiming she lost endorsement deals because of Teresa, instead of owning the fact that she has no personality other than follower or victim, and that it shows.

In the meantime, Jacqueline Laurita is on the verge of lunacy, needing immediate help. The fear of exposure of her past as a Las Vegas stripper is what kept her away from the Season 3 reunion, in direct violation of her contract.

Jacqueline tweets about Teresa to the point of obsession. She spends hour upon hour on twitter, time she should be spending with her autistic son, if that is indeed the truth. I know how harsh that seems, but the timing was awfully suspicious. Would Jacqueline use her young child as a storyline now that her Ashley storyline is gone?  You decide the answer to that one.

The truth is, many of us in the blogging world knew Jacqueline was a stripper since 2008, before the first season, when one of her neighbors outed her on a blog.  Scroll down, one of the comments was about 2 strippers on the show, the other one being Danielle Staub.

After observing Jacqueline's behavior at the Fashion Show, I can only conclude that the blank stares and lack of comprehension in her face came from a combination of alcohol and whatever meds she's on.  Her strong need for Caroline Manzo's approval has turned this unstable women into a zombie.

She may prove to be the biggest tragedy of the New Jersey franchise.  Bravo learned nothing from the death of Russell Armstrong.

Definitely jumped the shark.

Blk Water is the Cure For Autism?

Despite the fact that Season 4 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey is currently airing on Bravo, the fact of the matter is these people have not worked in a year. Except for, love her or hate her, Teresa Giudice.

They filmed seasons 3 and 4 back to back, hoping to cash in on Joe Giudice’s bankruptcy fraud trial, which was to take place in July 2011. Filming went straight through from October, 2010 (the christening episode) to the Season 3 reunion, to the end of season 4 filming, in late October, 2011.

Except for whatever day jobs they have, where’s the income? Lauren Manzo’s Cafface? Has Kathy Wakile sold a cookie lately? Melissa Gorga’s auto-tunes?  Caroline Manzo has a book deal with a small offshoot publishing house, the book to come out in March, 2013.

As for the Manzo boys, Greggy Bennett has a degree from Fordham, claims to have a job, won’t say what he does. Albie and Chris went from productive young men in season 1, to pushing that ill-fated BLKwater.

When Jacqueline Laurita told People Magazine this week that her youngest child Nicholas has autism, I was sympathetic to her plight, though I wondered how she could sometimes spend 24/7 on twitter with her drunken meltdowns.

I remember reading an article over a year ago in a local New Jersey paper, an interview with Albie Manzo about Blkwater. Here’s the paragraph that struck me:

 

One case in particular, he told Patch, has really assured him of the product's potential: A mother gave her autistic son blk. to drink, thinking its unique color might get him drinking more water. The boy not only drank it, he loved it, but the amazing part, he started behaving. The mother reached out to Albie, shocked, who sent her two more cases to try. Her son is stimming less and listening and following directions more. The difference, she told Manzo, is unbelievable. 

I know these people are desperate, but will they tout Blkwater as the cure for autism?  Let’s hope they won’t stoop that low.  After all, some less-than-savvy people will believe them.

Melissa Gorga Denies Financial Trouble

Some of the following article is quite confusing, as Melissa’s rep put it out there, sometimes saying nothing is better than a denial.

Melissa Gorga was the target of recent rumors regarding her and husband Joe Gorga’s financial state. The couple is selling their Toms River home for $520,000, however, it was reported that they owe $2.25 million after refinancing the property. There is some truth to the rumor but Melissa and Joe’s rep is setting the rest straight.

“The Gorgas are not in financial trouble,” the Gorgas’ rep told Us Weekly. “The documents in question represent the construction loan that the Gorgas took to build their main home, which used their shore house as collateral. Once the Gorgas secured a permanent mortgage, which is a matter of public record, that construction loan was null and void. The bank is currently correcting the paperwork.” There you have it! What was thought to be a huge debt, was simply a typographical error.

The main home that the Gorga’s rep is referring to is their Montville Township estate, which fans have seen on Real Housewives of New Jersey. The massive home is also on the market for a whopping $3.8 million! Although it has been assumed that they are selling their homes in an attempt to get out of debt, the couple is simply relocating back to Franklin Lakes which is where their families are. Plus, once they move, they will be closer to Joe’s work.

We got a glimpse on the last episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey  of how dull the show would be without Teresa Giudice.

Give me a break, Kathy Wakile and company.  The kids knew Tia Rosie was gay all along. This whole love fest with Rosie is an Andy Cohen concoction, designed to look like the Wakile’s have a storyline.

The pool party?  There are no words.  Is Joe Gorga straight or confused? No, Melissa Gorga, your acting is as good as your singing.

On to the main event. I find it so fascinating that the perennial Manzo sidekick can dish it out but cannot take it.

Granted, Joe Giudice’s “joke” about his butthole was rude, crude and not exactly PC, but Juicy Joe is rude, crude and over it all. As he awaits his jail sentence.

But why is Greggy Bennett even there?  If Caroline Manzo is so upset about people saying Prince Albie Manzo is gay, wouldn’t she get rid of the gay roommate? Granted, the Manzo “kids” are as dull as old dishwater, but you’d think she’d want the gay rumors to go away....  wouldn’t you?

Since the demise of Danielle, he became a regular sidekick on the show last season, dumped Teresa, and became an unofficial “Manzo”.

To see him get a little bit of his back from Juicy Joe was PRICELESS. And yes, though Jacqueline Laurita denies it, Chris Laurita did laugh, and Lauren Manzo, who always suffers at Greggy’s hand (jealous because he’s not a real girl?) laughed too.

In other news on the Dina Manzo/Caroline Manzo feud, rumor has it Dina was supposed to feature Jaime Laurita’s wedding on her HGTV show Dina’s Party.  When Caroline got wind of it, she quickly shopped it to Andy Cohen and Bravo.  Jaime consented, since Bravo is a bigger venue.

Sounds like Caroline, doesn’t it?  So, from 10 siblings, only the two on the Real Housewives of New Jersey could attend?

Leave Gia Giudice Alone!

I was unable to write about Episode 5 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey yesterday because I’m trying for a level of objectivity here, but DAMN.

Episode 5 was a perfect example of why children should be kept off these shows. What has happened on the message boards and twitter was much worse than the Lauri Waring/ Josh Waring/ George Peterson debacle after Season 1 of the Real Housewives of Orange County, when message boards were forced to change the way they do business because of the criticisms leveled at underage children. Because of the level of insanity targeting her children, Gina Peterson, George’s ex-wife, would not let her minor children be shown on Season 3, and has suffered for it every since.

I taught elementary school for 30 years. In that time, I’ve seen the way children and their relationships to adults has changed. Not touting myself as an expert, but I’ve seen plenty, especially since the advent of Facebook and Twitter.

It was wrong of Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita to corner an upset Gia Giudice like that, instead of just leaving her alone.  The 16 year old girl temper tantrum of yesterday is the 11 year old tantrum of today.  How dare they not get the girl’s mother and leave that child alone?

We truly get that Caroline Manzo hates Teresa Giudice because her precious “children” were held by police in Punta Cana during a brawl in January 2011.  The filming of Episode 5 was late June/ early July, 2011, just to keep things in perspective.

But Teresa’s kids should be off limits ... Caroline, along with the passive-aggressive Jacqueline Laurita,  basically ganged up on a little girl ... after the games, they assumed what was going on with Gia, without asking. In every episode , beginning with the Season 3 reunion,  Caroline stated she was never really friends with Teresa.  So, doesn’t that mean you leave the child of your enemy alone, and go get her mother, as requested?  Did Caroline know Teresa had been slated for Celebrity Apprentice by this time, not her or her boring ass Albie?  HMMM.......

CAROLINE NEVER CONSIDERED FOR CELEBRITY APPRENTICE

Gia should not have sassed Caroline and Jacqueline. Children as savvy as Gia do know, from years of handling non-evolved grandparents, a drunken stupid father, teachers, an absent mother and three sisters, that sometimes you don’t say anything. But she knows they hate her mother, so even though she can’t articulate it, she knew they had an agenda. 

Jacqueline and the book? No wonder Ashley Holmes has turned out like she has. By the way, rumor has it she is back in Las Vegas with her relatives, having run out of money in Los Angeles.

Teresa comes in and Caroline lies and says "I'm telling her you are having fun with Uncle Joe “ Then when Gia tells the truth, she lies again,  by saying  no one was reprimanding her.  Caroline then tells  Teresa she said "let's go out on the deck and get Mommy" That was a lie.

The jury is still out on Teresa's kids but spare me from either Caroline or Jacqueline giving parental advice given the loathsome specimens they have spawned. Prince Albie Manzo, Chris Manzo and Lauren Manzo are just lazy famewhores living on Bravo TV’s dime.  And Ashley Holmes? Please.

Why call out Caroline? Because she doesn’t explain, she pontificates. In the meantime:

• Boys are perfect no matter how they look, but girls must be thin? Greggy Bennett’s only role on the show is to pick on Lauren.
• Caroline and her revisionist history. Before her lap-band surgery between Season 2 and 3, Caroline was quite over-weight for her height.

Why are so many so-called adults calling out Gia personally, attacking an 11 year old who has no choice ?  Too vicious for me, but predictable. Not saying Teresa doesn’t share blame, Gia should not be on twitter.

The largest share of the blame goes to Bravo TV and Andy Cohen.  They know the harm caused by featuring minor children on screen, do they care? Hell to the no.  They  inadvertently attacked Gia on Watch What Happens, Live!  with that stupid poll.

Does this season just get uglier and uglier?  Looks like it. I stopped watching and blogging about Basketball Wives after Season 1, the same could happen here.

Teresa Giudice Owns Sunday Night

How would you like to be on two reality television shows simultaneously? That’s the strange phenomenon we experienced last night with the intrepid Teresa Giudice last night. In  addition, this will be true for at least one more Sunday night as well. Teresa is now in the final 6 contestants on Celebrity Apprentice.

You know the Manzo’s, Gorga’s and Wakile were praying to St. Michael and every other saint they could think of that Teresa would be fired from Celebrity Apprentice last night.  Why do I say that? Because that’s how they roll.

The premiere episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 4 was a bash Teresa crapfest. The amusing thing about it: all they did was help promote her second book, “Fabulicious”.Did any of these rocket scientists think of that? Of course not. Do any of them have a storyline?  Of course not.

It’s not that Teresa is a rocket scientist either. Born in a small, inbred hamlet in Italy, Teresa never heard or spoke a word of English until she went to school. Coming from the parents she and Joe Gorga have, I’m sure their Italian isn’t that great either. Street smart Teresa has come a long way from her roots, very fast.

Many of her fans admire tenacious people, no matter their education or background. Teresa, upon learning that she and creepy husband Joe Giudice are 11 million dollars in debt, and that they would both go to prison if they didn’t withdraw their bankruptcy petition, went to work, determined to pay back all their creditors.

She gets no credit for this among her cast mates, led by Caroline Manzo. When she was bashed by cast mates last week for not attending the media blitz that accompanies Bravo premieres, she told HollywoodLife:

The truth, Teresa Giudice told Hollywoodlife.com exclusively, is very simple, straight forward and drama-free. “My new book, Fabulicious!: Fast & Fit, is coming out May 15 and I need to do press for it on TV shows, but you can’t get booked for the same shows within a span of three weeks,” she explained .

“I really need to go on the shows to promote my cookbook and both our RHONJ network, Bravo and the shows producers are fine with me missing the RHONJ promotions, they understand,” she added.

How would you like her grueling schedule for her new cookbook?

It was pointed out by her brother last night that she speaks to the tabloids and is featured in them for money. Does he have 11 million dollars to give her? Oh, that’s right, he has his own problems:

Why oh why did Bravo TV bring the most dysfunctional Real Housewives franchise back to our screens so early, bumping the Real Housewives of New York City back to June 4? The simple answer: ratings. May is an advertiser sweeps month. The more complex answer: let’s get this crapfest out of the way so we can dump this bunch of losers.

WILL TERESA GIUDICE BE THE SOLE SEASON 5 SURVIVOR?

In Life and Style Magazine this week, they talk about what’s going on with the new season. The article is short on fact and long on fiction, I’ll attempt to insert a little truth here.

Life and Style:

Since the tense season-three reunion show in September, only sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, has seen Teresa - just once at her niece's birthday in January. Fame is to blame, Caroline Manzo, the matriarch of the cast, tells Life & Style. "Fame is like a drug," she tells Life & Style about Teresa, who went from being a stay-at-home mom to a New York Times best-selling author. "If you don't have your feet planted solidly on the ground, it can really take you for a trip."

Fact: Caroline Manzo is so jealous of Teresa Giudice she can’t see straight. No matter how she tries to disguise it as common sense and motherly advice, the core of Caroline says she and her loser children were supposed to reap the benefits from the franchise, not Teresa. The icing on the cake?

Relationships were so strained between former best friends Teresa and Jacqueline Laurita, that Jacqueline skipped the reunion show. Speaking out for the first time since then, Jacqueline tells Life & Style exclusively that Teresa changed once she viewed Jacqueline as a threat. "Teresa has an unhealthy need to be the best,"

FACT: Jacqueline Laurita as a threat? That’s a good one. Jacqueline has the emotional maturity of your average 5 year old, her hands are full just kissing Caroline’s ass and competing with her 21 year old daughter, Ashley Holmes. By the way, don’t try going to TheLookStore, Jacqueline’s venture, your anti-virus security will warn you. When was the need to be the best unhealthy? Teresa has to work, she is in severe financial distress, and they all thought that was wonderful when the target was Danielle Staub.

Life and Style:

As for Teresa's own flesh and blood, cousin Kathy Wakile tries her best to keep the peace and tells Life & Style that she's treated Teresa with "kid gloves" to avoid setting her off. But Melissa found herself under attack after Teresa told her brother (Melissa's husband, Joe) that Melissa would leave him for a richer man. "It hurt so bad," Melissa tells Life & Style. "There's just no reason to ever say something like that."

FACT: Kathy Wakile is a ‘stealth-bomber’ and Melissa Gorga did everything she could to discredit Teresa and get on the show, including contacting Danielle Staub and telling her ALL of Teresa’s business. (Danielle, at the Season 2 reunion, didn’t pull the stuff about the birth of the nephew out of the air)

But Teresa says her former friends Caroline and Jacqueline are the ones who wronged her by teaming up with her relatives, Kathy and Melissa, despite their issues. "In a perfect world, I'd be closer with my family," Teresa tells Life & Style. "Or, at the very least, my friends would help me repair those relationships rather than attempt to cause additional problems between us."

Fact: Teresa, with her three cookbooks, her cocktail, her personal appearances, and most of all, her stint on Celebrity Apprentice, where, unlike Nene Leakes, she won for her charity, NephCure, and is hanging in there, now in the final seven contestants, is rolling on. Teresa Giudice owns Sunday nights.

By the way, Teresa, Caroline Manzo was never your friend.  Caroline Manzo has a street gang mentality, no friends, only followers. Ask her sister, Dina Manzo.

The backstory:    Bravo TV Postpones the Debut of the Real Housewives of New York due to Editing Problems.

Everybody knows Bravo TV shot Season 4 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey early with no casting changes because they hoped to capitalize on Joe Giudice’s bankruptcy fraud trial, before the Giudice’s dropped the bankruptcy claim to avoid prison.

But the season 4 premiere is out of order, it’s time for the Real Housewives of New York to debut.  Rumors of this change were making the rounds last month;

REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW YORK SEASON 5 POSTPONED

Last year, when production problems postponed the New York season, Bravo gave us the Real Housewives of Miami, to the disappointment of many viewers.  I don’t know about anyone else, but the New Jersey housewives burned me out on their drama last season, not anxious to see them again so soon.

Bravo’s watercooler hit, The Real Housewives of New Jersey returns on Sunday, April 22 at 10pm ET/PT. Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Jacqueline Laurita, Caroline Manzo, and Kathy Wakile return for a season full of sun, fun, and loads of drama. Everyone's favorite Garden State ladies prove there are no lazy days of summer. Melisa continues to focus on her music career and gets help from celebritychoreographer Chris Judd. Caroline keeps busy with her brother's gay wedding and helps her daughter Lauren with her weight loss issues. Kathy has her mouth and hands full as she expands her delicious dessert line and keeps her two high school teenagers in check. Struggling with certain friendships and loyalties, Jacqueline finds herself at a breaking point. This season is not all work as the ladies also have some time to enjoy themselves with trips to the Jersey Shore, lavish outdoor parties, and even a trip to Northern California.

It’s a win-win for Bravo, May is an advertising sweeps month.

Victoria Gotti, Teresa Giudice, Debbie Gibson, Aubrey O'Day, Dee Snider and Lou Ferrigno were all photographed filming a competition on the streets of New York City on Tuesday

Many of the celebs were seen handing out flyers to lure customers into a Cafe Metro in Midtown.
On the menu? Giudice's "Hot-Blooded Housewife Hoagie" (Italian meats on focaccia bread for $100 a pop) and Gibson's "Teen Dream" (a $20 grilled cheese).

Other celebs who will be competing for the upcoming fifth season include Clay Aiken, Aresenio Hall, Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza, George Takei, Mario Andretti and Adam Carolla.

And you thought last season, with Nene Leakes and Star Jones was a train wreck?  Hope Teresa doesn’t end up with the same fate as "Tiny" Manzo.  Just Sayin’
